Folding vs aggression
Hello,
I am working on my redline the past few days. But I don't know what stats or what villains are good to attack. What people are more likely to fold vs overbets, 3 barrels, ch/raises,... I know fish are dangerous to bluff, nits fold very often but they have a tight range so I have to be carefull. And there are passive players who go to ch/call mode with overpairs and tptk all the way... So is there a stat u people use to help you make decisions?
thx

Fishes are okay to attack and okay to get thin value, they play wide ranges so their folding frequency usually high. Nits targets for preflop attacks and some postflop non-standard action.
Passive players most easiest one...
VPIP, PFR, WTSD, FOLD VS CBET, RAISE VS CBET, bet sizing and right spots helps you to improve green line.
This is a pretty loaded question. I would check out Pete Clarke's Grinder manual or his 'From the Ground Up' course here on RIO. He covers all of the fundamental topics such as Cbetting strats, PF hand selection and 3bet strats, overbetting, equity, pot odds etc. Honestly I think if you were able to absorb even some of the material in his book/course and understand the concepts, you would be much better off than just going into zombie mode and clicking random buttons based on one or two stats on your HUD.
Got myself the Grinder Manual. Thx for the tip cg15254 !
