flopped straight in 3 bet pot deep
Villain is a 30/18 player who I see at the tables quite often. He's not solid (obviously). He 3 bets ca. 6% from the SB, however, I'm not sure what kind of hands he does it with (other than premiums obv). I hold Ax suited which plays very well in a 3 bet pot deep, so I flat his 3 bet. Flop is obv the nuts.
I am not sure why I don't raise the flop. I think it makes sense given that the board is unlikely to develop in a way that makes it easier for me to get stacks in. Plus, he might call a raise with worse FDs and some Ax hands. Anyway, I call and turn pairs which doesn't mean much. He might have a fh here now every once in a blue moon, but that's speculative. River kinda sucks cause it stops action. I go for a thin value bet, hoping that he migth leven himself into calling KK, QQ here and Ax as well. He c/jamms his entire stack which looks pretty damn strong. I don't think that he'll turn KK or QQ into a bluff now. I wonder whether he might c/ shove a straight... It seems like he reps really narrow here, but I'd be very surprised if he shoved worse for value or ever bluffed here. Any thoughts?
