Flopped set on wet board, multiway
20NL 6-max cash.
Stack sizes:
UTG: 88BB
Hero (HJ): 100 BB
BTN: 60BB
SB: 88BB
BB: 180BB
UTG is somewhat loose reg, rest of the players are likely recs. I have a somewhat LAG image.
Preflop. Hero has 7h7c. UTG limps, Hero raises to 4BB, CO folds, BTN calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.
Flop (Pot: 20BB): Th9s7s. SB checks, BB bets 1BB, UTG calls 1BB, Hero raises to 17BB, SB calls, BB calls.
Turn: (Pot: 73BB) 2c Checks around. Hero shoves for 79BB, fold, fold.
Preflop seems fine.
Flop: I am not sure what size to use on this board. Do I use different sizes with, say, top pair vs set vs draw? I've heard that multiway, protection bets are decent, so I should bet top pair here with a smaller size? How about overpairs? With my sets, two pairs and draws, I need to go big? Should I go even bigger? I have a decent number of draws in my range: overcards with FD, QJs, maybe some overcards with BDFD (probably should be ditched multiway).
Turn: I have one pot-sized bet remaining. Should I shove turn? This would give me some fold equity with my draws, and perhaps let me get paid with sets. Should I shove top pair? Overpairs?
