Not in love with preflop. Calling CO vs UTG 3x seems ambitious here. BTN would be fine IMO. I play 3b/fold in this high rake environment.
MW on flop, I experimented with bombing pot+ no matter if I had the initiative or not and it worked out quite well. Here it makes a ton of sense. BB has a ton of draws/weaker made hands on this board. UTG has less draws but the draws he does have pay the price. Plus, do you really think someone random player in the 10NL pool is going to fold overpairs to a large bet here? Also, vs aggression from either/both players when you bet big it makes it simple to get AI on flop.
As a side note, I think you can take the free card on one of the worst cards in the deck (the 6s closed both straights and flushes for both players). It is very very easy to be behind here.
ya the call vs utg here with 99 sucks ass, its the bottom of your range and maybe slighty profitable vs very bad players but against most its 0 to -ev if you get squeezed or goes multiway a lot
its 2022 and we cant be flatting every pocket pair in every position hoping to set mine like its pre black friday when we have solvers and 1million+ hand samples telling us its going to put you in a bad spot a lot more than hitting a set and getting full stacks
AQo is a much better flat here
reraise flop get it in asap esp multiway and here is why:
keep utg betting ott with what hands?
lets say this was heads up, what would the value of flatting here be? it would be if 3better is raising a POLARIZED range and will CONTINUE the aggression on future streets
so a polarized range will snap fold once you reraise the 3bet, so for example if UTG decides to turn 4x or 56hh into a bluff, you getting it on the flop is a poor play because you've effectively forced him to fold hands that can possibility keep pure bluffing on future streets or turn some small equity and keep firing
but this is a multiway flop with a caller in between, so UTG here is 100 percent NOT raising a polarized range - his range is going to be made hands and high equity draws which CANNOT fold to a raise, thus you have to punish him and get value here when he is making a mistake with overpairs/top pairs and high equity draws that should have been flatted in theory
on top of that you are also getting value from the BB that just flatted, so there is sooo much ev to be gained with a reraise here as oppose to flatting and hoping for utg to be polarized into 2 people cause all you do then is let him see free cards with a range that will beat you sometimes and your hand is vulnerable on this board multiway despite being middle set
