Flop x/c with backdoors in 3-bet pot. This a mistake?

Blinds: $0.02/$0.05 (6 Players) BN: $5.30
SB: $8.02
BB: $6.74
UTG: $7.99
MP: $48.17
CO: $5.50 (Hero)
Preflop ($0.07) Hero is CO with A T
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.12, BN raises to $0.34, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.22
Flop ($0.75) 7 J 6
Hero checks, BN bets $0.45, Hero calls $0.45
Turn ($1.65) 7 J 6 Q
Hero checks, BN bets $1.05, Hero folds

This is a somewhat common spot in 3-bet pots where I am unsure if I should just be giving up. Villain is an unknown. Do you think floating here is ok or too light without a read?

Way too light. Just give up and move on. You have many better hands that you can call/defend with on the flop. Also, don't think you need to even be thinking much about floating OOP at 5NL.

Btw, I sent you a private PM. Did you get it? Had a question about the review video that Steve Paul did for you.
