Villain is solidish TAG reg. 22/17 w/ 5% 3b, n=4.5k
A 1/3rd of the hand sample size is from this week and I've seen him for a few months so we've been sparring a little bit, but I haven't seen Villain get out of line, he's a little cally vs 3b's (ATo IP, 65s vs large sqz), but I haven't seen him outright spaz.
I do have a note that he flat AA from BB vs a BTN iso raise, so I guess he can be a little tricky preflop some times, probably not here in this BvB spot.

I think the most interesting spots are flop and river. Do you do anything differently on F, T, or R?

Thats a weired and ugly spot...
Hes basically repping 33 and nothing else for value OTF. He might flat AJ pre as well, but im not sure if he might go this „thin“ OTF.
So if he plays 33/AJ + KQss/KTss + KQcc/KTcc this way he is already weighted towards value by the river heavilly. If we discount some AJs (that he might 3betpre) it gets even worse. I guess i would have trouble to fold here in game, but i would think that its the preferable line as we also unblock his valueregion completely (esp spades).
But in theory this has to be a call for sure as we are at the absolut top of our range.
Population underbluffs or at least under-follows-through. When to fold?...outright on the flop 4b? After he doesn't take free card on the turn? After we don't 4-out 33 on the river?
I guess Zinom is pretty on point with his thoughts here. It sounds pretty ridiculous to take this line, but could be the best vs population....
Therefore Villain is ip he doesnt even need to 4bet with any draws and so he is running out of bluffs quickly...
Your flop 3bet range is AJ, all sets, draws and 3x. Vs this range there's probably no hand in his range that has enough equity to re raise but he raises anyway and now you need to make a decision. He basically is overplaying 33 and has 0 bluffs. You exploit this by shoving flop with JJ and AA and folding all else.
These were my thoughts as well.
I was suprised however at the 3b by AJ on this board as well would that mean im playing too passively in this spot?
My thoughts would be I want to be trapping on a board that favors me that villain has somehow found a raise on.
If you go against 1 combo of KQcc and 3 combos of 33 the the pot odds and equity vs that tiny range street by street run similar, so basically whenever you think he's not semi-bluffing. Which ranges from not necessary on the flop to insane vs humans by the river. Have to make a disciplined exploitative fold after the flop 4b and move on.
