Flop sizing in 3bp w low spr
So, in a low spr situation, are we more inclined to be using large or small sizings on semi dynamic textures?
Example from 2-5 game recent
Unknown HJ opens to $20 w $340
Hero 3! AsQh sb to $70
HJ calls
Flop A24ddx
Pot is $140 and his stack size is $270
Basically, with the FD possible on board, and low SPR, are we inclined to play a more polar 2 street game, or play a strat that takes it over 3 streets, starting with small bets on flop?
Against a recreational I think the best approach is to just bet a sizing that lets me shove turn. So like Half pot and then 2/3. And suppose bluffs might be some diamond draws. However, I might be unbalanced and use a smaller flop Sizing(w bluffs) to allow for a larger turn sizing+him having more potential floats/more turn folds.
Spose I’m just curious how some of y’all may view this situation and general thoughts here.
I think vs deeper spr and against competent regs, we would probably want to play a more balanced approach and think we land on a more polar strat and cbet at least half pot given a significant range advantage.
