Fernetic Struggles at NL10 (But still a winning player :D ) AQ ISO vs UTG Fish
Hi everyone,
Need some thoughts about this one:
1) Any need to raise flop? We have very stable SDV and NUTS potential...
2) Magic happens at turn and we hit what we were looking for... A bigger overbet should be applied? His calling range is inelastic, right?
3) River is a clear fold for me, any counter opinion? - all reads I have here is about general pool and not this player in particular.
Thank you advance m8s.

1) What benefit do you see in raising the flop? Do we assume that better hands fold? Do we assume that worse hands will call? Both is doubtful and so i dont see a reason to raise. We have a clear nutadvantage here, so raising is for sure an option. But it should be polar (so with nutty hands or bluffs) and TPTK is neither.
2) His calling range could be inelastic as he limp/called preflop which makes me think he is a weaker player. In general i expect calling ranges to be pretty elastic here. Its hard to find bluffs in your range and so a 1p/2p hand will find folds for a certain sizing. And weaker players like limp/calling JT-stuff.
So vs this player overbetting should be fine and in theory we will do it anyways on some frequency i guess (as we wont be betting thin for value anymore). But i would mostly stick to a normal sized bet 1/2 or pot in this spot to not loose my customer.
3) quite close imo…as villain acted pretty passive throughout the whole hand, folding shouldnt be a huge mistake. But players like this tend to donk randomly (Tx/9x/Ax) here.
So i dont hate calling either
