When villain bets flop 3-way, imagine this eliminates some of his air combos like A3hh for example. I wonder how it affects things like AJo/AQo having the cold caller in there pre, and if some of these hands end up being flatted preflop. In a heads up scenario, I think this should make it into a turn calling range given we have some equity and villain can certainly have enough two barrels. I can see this being a bit closer if the flop gets bet at a much lower frequency however. Also, any idea what the half pot sizing may indicate?

I'd be tempted to just fold the flop vs that sizing given its 3 way and population underbluffs this spot. SB's cold call range has a lot of Ax and mid pocket pairs so is less likely that BTN has AK/AA but this seems less important as he has other value and strong draws . Suspect that turn is quite marginal as a call when considering the flop line. Difficult to know what the half pot sizing means exactly but he's probably just trying to get stacks in by the river.
At this stack depth, I think we're okay to just fold the flop. Calling isn't terrible, but I'd much rather have a bit more implied odds against the top of villain's range. If we're 150 BBs deep, then I usually call.
Turn I'm not happy about his sizing, and it definitely feels like a "I have strong value and want to be able to shove river" sizing. Probably time to fold now.
I fold flop and, as played, I fold the turn without much thought tbh.
I don't play on Bovada but I don't think villain bluff heavy with this line with this kind of runout
I did contemplate a flop fold, but figured with the BD spade draw it was more reasonable. On the turn, I did fold, but wasn't confident because it seems like villain can still have things like AQo or AJo in range, and that makes alot of combos. Thought turn call might have actually been better than a fold. I did fold. He did have AA also. Maybe I need to be operating under the assumption that people aren't overbluffing/3betting even at 50nl online still. Been playing mostly live for the past year so its a bit difficult getting used to playing in more aggressive environment again
I don't necessarily think calling the flop is terrible, but because of the lower-than-usual SPR caused by the 3bet pot, we don't have a ton of flexibility to win the pot without making the best hand. Like, I think we would sometimes want to checkraise a card like 8x on the turn, but we really can't since the effective stacks are pretty short due to the bloated pot preflop. But if we're sufficiently deep, we can do all sorts of things with our range, manipulating stack and pot sizes.
