facing SB donk on low connected board with OESD
BN: $9.38 (Hero)
SB: $6.42
BB: $5.57
UTG: $4.72
MP: $5.44
Rake is $0.06
Hey SB is 33/19 after 28 hands
Flop: wasn't sure what does that donk bet meant. I guess I can exclude him having a set and playing like that instead of x/r? My initial thought was that his range contains medium overpairs, some FD, OESDs (i block some like 87) and gutshots like A2, A3s, maybe he donks with some 6x, 5x? Decided to semi-bluff - I don't want any heart turn and I can hit my OESD or T for a top pair.
Turn: I now expect him having some strong hand. I'm not sure he can play FD like that so I guess he might have hit a straight or have a set. Can I call here? I need 25% but I have only 8 outs to improve (maybe 6 if he has FD?). On the other hand his range seems strong so I have implied odds if I hit. Decided to fold but wasn't sure...
Thanks

I think people sometimes donk strong part of their range too. He can have all type of hands: sets, straights, pairs, overpairs, FD and overcards. So flop raise with bdfd is fine, can expect to see re-raise sometimes...
Turn I'm considering calling, we don't have direct odds but if we win sometimes when hit or when bluff it is seems slightly profitable.
I think 33/19 with this board he almost hit this type of board most of the time, i would go for call instead of raising, because his bet size is just less than half pot ill take the line of calling because of his bet sizing giving me a very good price.
From what I've seen, many people donk half pot or so with their draws, sometimes with marginal made hands if they're fishy and hate check/calling. Can't really read much into it. Raising the flop is fine and calling is fine as well.
Turn is rather poor (though he shouldn't have a 3 too often in the SB). I would probably fold here since there's no backdoor draw anymore, and not all of my outs are clean (the hearts could make the villain a flush). You can have plenty of better hands here -- no need to continue with this hand.
Raise Turn, bet river
Fair raise OTF, but I'd go for a slighty bigger size.
On turn, no way you can fold vs this small bet with OESD.
Call and evaluate the river.
Would Raise Turn work? He doesnt have 3x often here. Looks like a FD to me.
