Without a read I think he's got a better hand too often for us to be good the 1/2.5 times necessary to make a call profitable. Our hand is a bluff catcher and although I've never played zoom I don't think the average villain is bluffing here 40% of the time or more.
Fold. But im flatting pre
Agreed
You don't have reads, so is it more likely to be a fish? Or in other words are you an old regular on your stake, and already know most of the regs??
If yes, I'm calling river.
If not, I'm on the team that flats preflop. But 3betting at some freq I think is okay too, but folding river, I'd rather call with AQ+.
Just got a hud so I dont have a lot of stats on people. I agree that flatting pre was the better play but how about on the flop? is it better to cbet here or checking here. Initially I put him on some middle pair here and see if he would bet the turn and he did so i was confident about my read of him having like 88-JJ maybe even QQ.
He could have AK but wouldn't he 4bet me pre? from his river shove though I think he either had AQ or 99 trying to get value. I folded but I think I made many mistake this hand.
Btw thanks for discussing this hand with me guys learning alot.
How come the river is a fold? The FD missed although we did block it. He cannot have a straight. So 66 maybe?
I don't think I would fold that in game so I guess that would be a leak for me as well.
I think he had AQ or AK. so you have to fold.but i don't think it is good idea to sqz a man you don't know too much with AJ
