Facing a donk donk line and turn decision @NL25

BB: $29.22
UTG: $25.80
HJ: $52.49
CO: $25 (Hero)
BN: $25.15
SB: $18.60
Preflop ($0.35) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 2 A
UTG folds, HJ folds, Hero raises to $0.62, BN folds, SB calls $0.52, BB folds
Flop ($1.49) T 9 6 (2 Players)
SB bets $0.75, Hero raises to $2.25, SB calls $1.50
Turn ($5.99) T 9 6 5 (2 Players)
SB bets $2.25

SB is kinda fishy although I have only 13 hands on him which shows 57/0 AF3.7. He limped 7/13 hands from dif positions and no doubt this time he called.

OTF I made a semibluff raise that seems OK to me. What about turn? What's ur plan when he donk again?

I would fold turn, you have a naked flush draw and 1 over!

But the most important part about this hand is that a fish would stick to a top pair hand like flies on sh_t, remember that and use it.

There are several hands that beat you and you only beat worse FDs.

I think you played your hand good up to this point, no shame in folding!

Play is fine pre-flop and on the flop. The turn line is unorthodox, but you only need 21% equity to continue, which essentially you have.  And I'm sure villain will pay off a small, to medium value bet if you hit.  So flat away!!

I think turn is definitely a call, he would be drawing to a worse flush or being stubborn with a 98o or something. I often call against fish in these spots because they will always pay you off with lower flushes and 2pair+ when you hit.

I think this why these games are great, cause every one chases!

What happens when you don't hit, guess the advice you would get is fold.

You should plug in the numbers and see what our equity is vs a range for villain. This is a clear call and ya fold if you miss cause he beats Ahigh and isnt folding.

In these spots I'm mostly just calling this flop, to be honest I don't see a lot of downsides to a call.

I don't think that we have that much FE when he donkbets a board like this one, we keep all the draws that we dominate in his range and he won't fold very often if the club hits (OTT).

When we do raise the flop and he calls he's likely gonna fold a lot hands when we make our flush.

As played; I think I'm calling this turn, as Kevin said he will definitely call a small to medium bet on the river when we hit.

With a small turn bet size I might see a call here with Hero's equity vs villain range but with a bigger turn sizing( which I would do vs anyone that likes to chase) to not give correct pot odds for a call, IMO in the long run a turn call is a losing proposition.

Sure if you price them out with a large enough bet and you arent going to give implied odds OTR then ya its a mistake for them to call. However in this specific instance its clearly +ev to call because of the price and your making a pretty large mistake if you fold esp as this is a nut draw vs someone who is likely not totally competent at nlhe.
