EV calculation ~ help from the doors would be appreciated or anyone that can solve the problem
that is following
thedoors
W : % we win
G : how much we win
L : How much we lose
EV=W x G - (1-W) x L
EV calculation question appeared in another post so i tried to use the formula to come up with answer and i came up with this numbers
W : 41,92 percent
G: Hero wins 1400
L : How much we lose = 3937
So i tried implement it in formula and i got this
EV=41,92 x 1400 - (1-41.92) x 3937
Out of that i cant get any number that looks alike EV
I have one minus number with what i dont know how to deal with ( one from blanket )
and i m not sure what is in higher priority to do in given formula
but i did it few times in various ways and couldnt come up with anything logical
so if anyone knows help here would be much much appreciated
because i would rally like to know to get EV for certain problems that are repetative
