As played I think you should call with already half your stack invested. But it's probably close.
I'd consider a different post-flop line on this texture with those positions.
like what? x/c turn?
Yes but after spending some more time thinking about it, and considering how tight your range likely is in this spot I prefer your line.
I think it depends a bit on how wide we 3bet there but also on how often he calls your 3b with AA/KK.
I expect villain to raise sets on the flop most of the time because we're perceived to be strong and the texture is wet, so I view his range ott as slowplayed sets, big overpairs and a few flushdraws. The worst hands I can picture him having here are JsTs , QsJs, or perhaps AcKc and similar combos, maybe an overplayed JJ on seldom occasion but still mostly strong draws and overpairs and slow-plays. I can even make an argument for bet-folding turn if he doesn't do this with flushdraws often as nitty as it may sound.
Then again, that makes me want to put this hand into my x/c range ott.
Sorry if that all sounds a bit inconclusive. Maybe this means that a mixed strategy can be used as well.
After 3betting an UTG raiser and getting called, I don't think we're ever checking this flop. We're not expecting him to hit it much which makes it very good to cbet so we need to value bet a bit on the wider side, overpair fits well within that range. We'll get calls from Tx, some of the big aces, 99, KQss, QJss, etc. ...
Edit: I just realized you said x/c turn and not x/c flop.
call....
