Do you play trash with good pot odds?

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (5 Players) SB: $20.72
BB: $26.65 (Hero)
UTG: $40.46
CO: $28.61
BN: $65.81
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is BB with 3 7
2 folds, BN raises to $0.62, SB calls $0.52, Hero calls $0.37

Hey,
BU is standard REG and SB loose FISH.

The question is clear. What do you defend on BB in this situation?
How many %? and WHY?

Thanks!

I'd defend wide because we have position on the fish, but not that wide. You can also sqz a lot expecting the reg to fold and play vs the fish with initiative.

Nope folding, you never realize your pot odds. This calls will drown your redline and winrate in general.

Second question is too big to answer. I'd say with fish calling slightly wider in suited region and hands with good potential like 76o 87o, not A2o/A3o... Q7o Q8o.... K6o and ......

Why not hands like A2o? Why is the combination good for SB open open and not good for call to multiway pot?
Is 73s playable in your opinion?

Multiway pots are not very common so I don't have a good sample to find out what is + EV call and what is not.

What in situation when CO opens, BTN call and we are on BTN? Does that change anything? We have a relative position after all.

Thanks!

A2o just a ''garbage hand''. It has enough pot odds to call but vs 2 ranges OOP it playing just terrible. Folding a lot on the flop or getting owned by better Ax.
Same for other hands like K6o Q7o and so on. You need 2 players play very terrible postflop to make them profitable defend (or have very big rb deal, so rake not affecting you)

Regarding button peels, you have 2 players behind and getting sqz will let you lose a lot of money. As weak holdings not gonna be profitable to call even IP .
