I'm folding JJ always on turn and QQ sometimes depending on stats.
Never calling three streets.
But I'm not a good player and play NL2 where people don't bluff enough.
close on river.
its read dependent u think he will always take this line with 1010 and JJ ? and with AKo with one dimond how he plays those hands...
no need for check x/r flop. almost always x/c.
QQ is good to be in checkraising range I think because it is vulnerable to turn cards but overall strong holding. AA not chekc raising because you dont face overcards on turn.
It's close but vs 10NL player pool I'm folding. This line will be underbluffed quite a bit, lots of players will x back flop w AdKx/AxKd at some frequency, and will refuse to bluff with no equity hands here which is probably necessary given that villains value range is pretty wide on this runout.
I also doubt JJ takes this line near enough of the time to call here.
First of all flop we probably want to continue about 65% of our range here and on this board texture we are going to want to have a checkraise range. QQ is going to be a very high frequency checkraise, if not almost 100%, as well as AQ-ATdd, and 22, 44, 66 at some frequency. Even some AQo with Ace of diamonds are going to be a checkraise, I think QQ is well strong enough to checkraise and we should most of the time in my eyes if they are 3betting like 5% or more.
I mean how much better of a bluff catcher can we have??? AK with the ace of diamonds? Even AK with ace of diamonds is a much worse call than QQ being that we don't really block bluffs other than exactly AxQd. QdQx would just be ridiculously tight to fold, I still think UTG can be triple barreling JJ and QQ sometimes (not often but sometimes). AK and AQ with a diamond are optimal bluffs at a high frequency.
I honestly don't even care that we have the diamond in our hands, I'm just not folding this given the line, espeically with the fact that I didn't checkraise it, pretty standard call down. With a diamond or without really doesn't make a difference in this spot. We have a bluff catcher and this hand we really need to bluff catch. I think JJ and TT on river get closer and probably end up being a fold. We still have 99,66, and some flushes.
I'm curious as to why you think hero wants a check-raising range here. Not trying to be smart, just curious really.
That I'm not sure about....If I tried to give a definitive answer, I would be lying or making assumptions, I can tell you that I have run these spots in pio and in these spots where we are going to have all of the set combinations and they aren't, even other spots as well but especially these spots, and we are out of position, one of our best defenses vs their high frequency bets (which IP should bet 100%), is for us to develop a check raising range, maximizing our value with draws, sets, QQ, backdoor draws like AdQx etc.
I would have played the hand the exact same way.
A fold is out of the question OTR. You will see 1010-JJ here quite often, sometimes you will see AJ, AK, etc.
yes, you will often see AA and KK.
