Did I spew? 5nlz
Hero is UTG with AsJs and opens 3bb with a 97BB stack
MP1 calls, MP2 folds, CO raises to 9bb
folds back to Hero who calls, MP1 also calls
Flop comes down 3c 7d 6s
Hero checks, MP1 checks, CO bets 25BB
Hero shoves, MP1 folds, CO calls.
Now, on bovada this is a common thing that fish do, 3bet super light thinking people will fold and then bet large OTF with nothing. My thinking with the call is it really doesn't hit his 3bet range, and the only thing really betting here is over/drawing for overs. Thinking of it now, the bad 3bet sizing could have been someone who had a really high pocket pair, or something like AJ-AK KQ, possibly KJ and QJ. I was right this specific time, and my ace high was good, but I sucked out on the river, so that's probably why I'm making this post anyways. Is this a strategy that I should keep, or is it complete spew?

I have never played on Bovada but I don't think this is a very good play at all. Do you not have any stats on your opponent? His 3bet % and cbet after 3bet % should give you an idea whether or not he is bluffy in these spots.
Generally though, given no reads on opponent, this appears to be a -EV bluff. His pocket pairs TT+ likely snap (if we take your assumption that he is a fish) and there are some hands that fold KQ, AJ AQ AK etc. Furthermore, he is 3betting your UTG open which should tighten up his range (assuming he is aware that UTG opens a tighter range also).
There will likely be people who can offer a more detailed insight into this spot.
I have a pretty general read on the 5nlz population. Since it's anonymous you can't have stats on anyone. Basically minclick 3 bets(raising 0.15 to 0.25) are usually super strong like kings or aces, and people who squeeze with a bad sizing(raising 0.15 with two callers to 0.45) are people who try to be too fancy and don't have a clue what they're doing. Like, I know I shouldn't give results, but he showed up with K8o lol. But after sitting on this hand for a few hours I think it's definitely a spew without a given read. I think a play like this has a lot of fold equity given how terrible the board is for a CO 3bet, but also verse a weaker player they can show up with a lot of overs or call with like a small pair, but I still don't think it's a profitable decision to make without a super specific player read.
Yea I think you did. I also don't believe it is a Bovada thing. Even if it was, find hands with some decent equity to do it with.
Awful
Fold flop
Yeah, this is pretty terrible when I look back over it.
He overbets flop and you think you have fold EQ with 3-6 out at best?
