Designing linear 3 bet range
The game I play is very call happy vs single raises and vs 3bets and 4 bets are pretty rare. A bit of 3 betting, but given people call more often, their 3 bet range is pretty narrow and linear with an exception of a few people. Wanted go create a linear 3bet range given their call tendency and more fit \ fold tendency post flop. Very sticky when they do hit top pair though.
Vs LJ (6.79% \ 90 combos)
AQ+, ATs+, TT+, KJs+, QJs+, A5s-A4s
Vs HJ (7.99% \ 106 combos)
AQ+, ATs+, 88+, KJs+, J10s+, A5s-A4s
Vs CO (11.9% \ 158 combos)
AJ+, KQ+, ATBs+, A9s+, 66+, T9s+, A5s-A4s
SB Vs BTN (15.1% \ 200 combos)
AJ+, A4s+, QJ+, K9s+, Q9s+, J9s+, T9s+, 55+,
The SC portion people usually use I took out as they will do better as folds or calls, leaning towards folds since most opens are 3-4bb. Not sure about 3 betting some of these smaller pairs 55-88 or Wheel aces. I was mostly using snowie ranges for SB vs Each position to establish linear ranges. However, I was planning to use these ranges in all positions vs the position that opens.
