Constructing 3B and Calling Ranges
Hey Guys,
I have a question regarding constructing 3B/Calling Ranges.
I've been watching Vincent's GTO and range construction videos as it applies to HU play, and trying to do the same for 6Max/FR.
I remember reading in Harrington's online book that he preferred to value 3B with hands that comprised the top 25% of hands versus a given range with the hands having at least 55% equity vs the given range, call OOP with hands that had 48-55% equity, call IP with hands that had 45-55% equity, and light 3B hands worse at a 2:1 ratio value:light. That may or may not be solid advice, but it is a starting point for discussion.
Vincent's 3B range suggestion of 20% vs a 100% SB min-raise in HU play is another starting point, and he advocated having a 1.1-1.5:1 bluff to value ratio. He didn't really discuss what his ideal equity with ranges should be, but his 20% range has 55% equity vs the 100% open.
What do you guys think?
Here's an example of what I've been trying to construct. I've been playing a lot of 4-handed deep-stacked 50NL versus very LAG opponents. In the following hand, I'm in the SB and I estimate the CO to be opening a 35% range:
22+, A2s+, K5s+, Q7s+, J7s+ ,T7s+, 97s+, 86s+, 75s+, 65s, 54s, A5o+ ,K9o+, Q9o+, J9o+, T9o
I've comprised the following 3B range: JJ+, 33-22, AQs+, A4s-A2s, KQs ,QTs-Q9s, J9s+, T8s+, 97s+, 86s+, 76s, 65s, AKo
This comes to slightly more than 25% of the 466 combos in Villain's range and has 53.14% equity versus that range. Does this seem like a good range? Am I covering enough boards? How should my range change at say 100bb (the game is typically 100-200bb deep)? Am I thinking about this correctly?
All input would be fantastic. Thank you.

Do you have a flatting range?
The difference from 6max in the sb and from bb (both hu and 6max) for 3betting range construction is going to be different. By different I mean less polar and more linear.
If you're flatting some, you'll need to flat some traps as well. If you're not flatting just go straight linear perhaps only dropping out some off suit hands that will be dominated by his calling range since you're deep.
