I kind of played my set slow but by river I figure I have the best hand?

I hardly think he has a big value hand here, don't think he would try to go for a check raise 4ways and take the risk to see you check back (could be different if he checked and there was 3 villains who could stab but here, it's only you!).
Now, I'm really not sure about how to play the hand best. I think I would play like you flop turn but river I would have go wayyy smaller haha. TO me, his range look very weak so I'm trying to let him cry call or raise spew but I don't think he will ever level himself and call worst an unknown's overbet that deep but he still can have some 99 55 played oddly.
His stack size is well within the pot size so it's not really an over bet. To me, his hand looked almost certain as to AA-TT. In the same session, 20 minutes earlier, I played this hand below against him.
So, instead of typing in his exact stack size, I just decided to shove river this time thinking it might polarize my range enough to get a call but now that I shared this thought process, it's obviously deranged.oups, my mistake I didn't check the stacksize and pot size more carefully. Thought you was a bit deeper and was still thinking about the other hand I commented where villain made a small overbet
Anyways, def would just jam too if you he just have to call $43 in $54.
About the AA-TT, it's difficult to know. I thought about putting those in his range but it felt too oddly to me. He has a lot of value to bet with at least SB as a weaker player and it would be horrible if you check back. Now it's possible he chooses to play that way with overpair and it's for this reason I shove but I'm a bit in the dark.
Given the line he took, you'll almost always have the best hand here. I would play it the same on all streets.
What do you think of 3betting the flop big? He may put you on combo draw and just decide to go with his overpair. Smooth calling kind of gives you a wider range but you may not get value if a spade does fall. Like the river shove.
That's also a good play. Sometimes, you will lose a ton of value by not raising on this type of board textures. So, that's something that we should always think about.
