Close Flop decision 1-3
UTG limps who I perceive to be a semi thinking TAGfish
Hero limps bttn w 64cc 175bb
SB is a tight passive lady who seems to play a stronger range, but very passively preflop(flatting things like JJ)
BB is a sporadic older man w 150bb
4 way to flop
8s5d3d Pot = $10
blinds check
UTG leads $10
Hero calls $10 (intending to bluff diamonds when checked too, and guessing 6x/4x have some showdown or bluffing potential (specifically the 4x). also maybe implied odds on clean straight cards. I'm unsure if I should be flatting this wide however with 2 players to act that will certainly raise at some frequency when they make a hand, and also it is concerning if the guy who lead ever checks D turns, because then I am just spewing money pretty hard. Thinking back on it, I think I should just fold here and defend 64hh with the backdoor for additional implied and more ways to turn equity and win the pot. its gotta be really bad for my ev having the 2 players behind, not drawing to completely clean outs, and not knowing exactly how villain will play Dx parts of range all the time.
Side note: I think I should have isolated this preflop. I dont think the UTG has a super wide range, but with the blinds playing generally passively, I will realize alot of my equity and have alot of cbetting and 2 barrel opportunities.
