Can someone weigh in on my mistake in this hand
Hi. Villain is a pretty aggressive that has been getting increasingly suspicious of my 3/4bets. I have caught him turning middle pair into a bluff on the river, shoving over a 55% pot bet by me on the river in a 4 bet pot. That time he had a OESD with the pair of 9s and the board was like QsJhTsQc5c. That time i bet really small OTT because the hand started with a 3 bet and 3 calls after which I 4 bet huge because we were deep.
OTR I had quads so wasn't really tripping.
In this hand I feel like I completely botched the river. Somehow I knew he either had a set KQ or complete air but because of history and his aggressiveness I check called the river when I think I should've bet small and folded to a raise or just X/F.
Thinking clearly I see his most probable range OTT as KQ or sets because I double block AK.
Id jus't like some input on how some of you would've played this hand different.

This is a spot that bet small-fold River looks pretty good for me, by checking you are not inducing many bluffs, since you hold the As,and the Q is not a club, some of his club floats are gonna have a pair now, So that means he gonna have many Kx and Qx that might call but not bet if you check,If i check this river i would even bluff raise this instead of calling even if its sounds crazy but the reason behind it is that i do not bluff both flop and turn with Lonely As like AsJx or AsTx etc unless it is AsKx or AsAx so that means most times i bet flop and turn its gonna be AsXs meaning that we have a tone of flush with this line that we can turn As even with a pair into a bluff with a very big polarized bet?. I am not very sure about this however as i am not very experienced player and maybe this is just my crazy thinking or missing some information as to why this could be very bad play, so keep the first part only, and i will be waiting here with you for someone to reply on what i wrote :D
I'd just fold without info, villain not having much bluffs as board runout. Of course possible he turning into a bluff small pp or A5. But I would see people shove them more often than bet that size.
With your line(and this river card), you giving up river so often, he clearly can push you off if he is smart enough. Other than that I don't see your river call being profitable, only if you know he is turning to a bluff many things.
Good hand to bluffcatch, bad runout and limit and his size! to do so.
Yes i agree with all that , and i think the probability of average player to turn medium PP into bluffs might be even lower than some people think.What do you think about making his hand a bluff check raise, is it crazy, bad, unnecessary, genius :D ?
seems bad to check raise, when people don't have enough folds in a first place and so little spr so they wont give you credit or make a mistake by always calling.
You are right i misread the spr and how (not)deep they are, if i knew that i would not even think about it
