I think the hand is pretty standard up until turn. I would prob go bigger on flop in hindsight but dont think its too big a deal. On turn I basically just didnt want him betting turn for this sizing and getting to dictate rivers, while I also thought we could get called by quite a few worse hands. Villain is an unknown.

If you think that the average player is getting queens in at some point PF then I think that this is probably fine. If you think that QQ is in villain's range I would expect the EV of this play to drop quite a lot. Weird spot though due to turn sizing and ranges being fairly narrow in a squeezed situation.

Yeah, this seems like a pretty awkward spot. Do we think there is any merit in betting considerably bigger on the flop (like $12), and then shoving turn (for not much more than pot)?

Ye Im not really sure how our cbet strategy should look here when his range is pretty well defined after he cc the open and the squeeze. This board should hit him quite well considering the amount of suited broadways he is likely to have. But then again this is a very good board for the squeezer, which is why I decided to go for this small bet with majority of my range. There is for sure merit in the bigger bet otf imo. It allows us to lower spr and simplify our decisions on later streets, so this could well be the better option.

What you guys think about just cbetting turn?

Getting right preflop model here is super important, as amount of QQ/JJ, as James indicated, is pretty significant for our EV, but i guess most of the time these are getting 3betted against UTG, and sometimes even shoved vs. action preflop, so i would reduce at least good half of these.

And then, with KK blockers aswell, i think we are still in really nice shape, against a range that still should be interested in paying with quite good amount of hands, given that a lot of what he hold is either top pair or pair+some kind of draw.

So i think i like betting more, but as played would propably also shove, i really dislike idea of Villain realizing all his hands for cheap.
