Do I ever checkback any FD in this situation? If yes which ones are good for that? Here I decided to bet having no showdown value but equity + positional advantage and range advantage.

I don't think 8 is helping me besides only having some showdown value vs gutshot type hands like AT,KT? Should I bet here?

Not sure if anything worse calls me here if I ship? I guess it's more likely that he check/raises a flopped set on a flop?
Thanks

Interesting question. It will depend on the field/player you're facing off.
If we are not checking back some flushdraws, we won't have flushes when we check and the third spade comes into the board. This somehow is important if the villain is capable to perceive our strategy as long he plays more hands with us. Which means that villain can exploit us somehow when we check back, since we will have an unbalanced range.
But since you're playing 5NL, most of the field won't be able to perceive or properly exploit you.
Then, it doesn't matter a lot. By betting you accomplish some FE and if he calls you are backed up by your draws.
As played, I like checking again OTT 'cos you got some showdown value and by checking you avoid some possibles XR and you realize your equity for free.
And since you checked back on the turn, we must consider to have some raising combos. I don't mind to shove for value since most of the people won't find a fold button at these micro stakes. But in higher limits it's interesting to add some bluffs in the raising range as well.
thanks Mancuso :)
Flop: some times u can check back NFD, betting has plus ev thou,
River def is raise for value.
