Bottom Set 200bb deep Readless....

BN: $163.49
SB: $215.67 (Hero)
BB: $111.33
UTG: $412.87
HJ: $82.14
CO: $116.77
Villian is unknown decided to set mine vs his 2.5 raise from UTG.
Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 2 2
UTG raises to $2.50, HJ folds, CO folds, BN folds, Hero calls $2, BB folds
Flop ($6.00) 9 3 2 (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $4, Hero raises to $12.66, UTG raises to $36, Hero calls $23.34
Turn ($82.00) 9 3 2 4 (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $47.25, Hero raises to $105.50, UTG raises to $200

OTF I x/r for value, but when I get 3bet I feel like his range is really nutted (99,33, maybe AA, KK, QQ?) I feel like being this deep nut draws will generally call the raise, please correct this statement if it is wrong. I'm not use to playing deep stack poker, but I feel that my statement is accurate. When facing his 3bet I feel like I'm beat a good chunk of the time, but a set is too strong to fold so i call.

OTT Would it be too nitty to x/f vs an unkown? Really lost tbh... since villian was unknown decided to get it in. Vs a reg I'm x/c then decide or x/f depending on who.

any comments appreciated, thanks in advance

vs unknown i would usually never fold a set even bottomset...Not sure why you call the flop 3bet to jam that turn...I guess this card hits his flop 3betbluffing range decently....would´ve prefered to jam flop tbh...even it is 200BB deep i see ppl often jam it with NFD+GS/FD+OESD or even worse...

Yeah I kind of went against my plan OTF, and decided to x/r Turn and never folding vs his weak turn bet on such a wet board. If he bet small to induce so be it, and I get to take a note.

Flatting 22 vs an UTG open this deep is still not profitable, imo.
You pretty much only win my flopping a set, and when he does stack off, you're up against a bigger one a decent amount. You might win the hand 15% of the time or so.

I was going to post more, but I'm not sure what to do either.
I do know that you should not double check-raise. Calling the turn as played.

I would just get it in on the flop as default, and be happy about it.

*) I don't get your logic, if you think villains hand range is nutted, then why are you Check/raising turn.

Is it as value, or bluff? The problem with this hand is i don't understand your purpose for jamming on the turn, when you accomplish the same thing by Jamming flop. Here is a list of basic things i think about when deciding on turn line:

Turn Check/folding reasons:

1) Villain is tight, and his flop bet/3-bet hand range is nutted

2)the 4, completes A5,56 which is in villains flop semibluffing range, etc

Check/Call reasoning: 1) I think villain is bluffing, and that im C/C to trap him for 3-streets

2) Im 200BB effectively deepstack, and my Set hand range is too strong to fold, so im going to C/C turn to reevaluate river

CHeck/raise turn:???

My logic OTF was that his range was nutted, but when he bet so small OTT I re-evaluated and decided he could be barrelling with a monster draw. Mainly when the board is that connected OTT I feel like he should be betting much Larger with his value range. At least ~60? But I agree with Chael Sonnen about how if stacks went in on the flop I'm usually behind a large % of the time. And I am normally x/f x/c turn much regularly than I am taking this x/r x/r line.

vanity02, maybe you have a better read on villain's bet sizing tells.

If you were to view this hand through villains perspective, the turn bet sizing could mean,

1) he was trying to set up a PSB on river.

If you called turn River pot size:$176.5

River Effective stacks:$129.92

So basically villain sets up a perfect PSB river jam.

2) He was betting smaller to induce a turn raise, thus setting up a bet/3-bet jam on Turn with his value range

3) He's barreling(as you have mentioned) with a combodraw

**) In essence, if your flop assessment of villains hand range is strong, then you shouldnt(to some extent) deviate from your original analysis, thus further confusing yourself, for say, on this turn situation. HOpe this is of little help.

I agree with this, I tend to question myself vs unknowns and potentially change my decision mid street like i did here. Its probably not good that I do this and is something I'm looking to correct, but when I'm not confident with my villians projected range i try to find things to support my reasoning.
