Bluffing with bottom pair on a paired river blind vs blind

Blinds: $0.50/$1.00 (6 Players) CO: $21.50
BN: $68.36
SB: $80.00
BB: $101.17 (Hero)
UTG: $162.47
MP: $18.50
SB is good TAG reg, a bit on the stationy side.
Preflop ($1.50) Hero is BB with 6 4
4 folds, SB raises to $3.00, Hero calls $2.00
I defend 64s BvB against a 3x open. I think this is fine.
Flop ($6.00) 8 6 T
SB bets $5.00, Hero calls $5.00
The flop should be fine for my range. The big bet on flop indicates top pair, overpair or a good draw. I elect to just call with my bottom pair, to evaluate turn.
Turn ($16.00) 8 6 T A
SB checks, Hero checks
SB checks. I estimate that his range is likely to be an overpair, some Tx and some bluffs he's giving up on.

I am in two minds: I have a bit of SDV, but it's pretty worthless against a large part of his range. So I was thinking whether to turn my bottom pair no kicker into a bluff. I don't block hearts or diamonds, which is good.

However, I did not consider this Ace to be too great for my range, so I decide to just check back here.
River ($16.00) 8 6 T A 8
SB checks, Hero bets $16.00
SB checks again. I give him the same range as above.

I don't think my SDV is good enough. I can't have many worse hands here. Flush draws/straight draws will either raise flop or likely bet turn.

I block some 8x hands myself, and I don't block hearts or diamonds. I have a credible story to bluff with: I called the flop with 8x, checked back the turn, and rivered trips.

So I decide to bluff here. I don't think he'll fold overpairs, but he might fold some Tx hands. What do you think of the bluff?
