bluffing against bad player.
Villain 1 tabling bad player, not quite brainless station, rather bit patient amateur.
How bad is my play here? i was feeling a bit spewy/aggressive and cant decide if i played OK or bad.
Id like your answer being taking in count that villain is unknown bad 1 tabling player.

His turn lead made me think he is weaker than pair of tens and i should/could go full throttle.

He played it like AA except he had 66. I think I get it. You think he's a bad player and he thinks you are a bad player.
Dont you think hes got worst than pair of T there like atleast 60% of time?
where are these stations when i have T or better lol
Don't try to bluff bad players. Exploit them by valuetowning mr.exploitfond :P
I think turn is where you should give up when he leads because it's a pretty good indication of strength from his point of view, we know from the results that he isn't that strong but the point is he thinks it is strong therefore never folding no matter what you do to him.
Well i still stand by the fact that opponent is more often weak when he leads out like that after flop check/call... they are like pls dont bet too much into me and so they protect their hand by leading.. often with draws and middle/bottom pair.
Although on some board textures and opponents that is not the case.
On the second (or should i say eleventh) thought .. here opponent leads like 70% of pot which makes me hesitate if what i said is true ... I would definately stand by it if opponents bets up to 50% but... mnjaa
Value bet thin,value bet often.
Yes i know how to play these stakes, ive been through them before but i was 4 tabling to learn and do my best thinking about situations and it just gets really boring to stick to abc, so to make things more interesting i was looking for spots to bluff.
As CombatCarl said above, I feel like the turn is where you give this up. What were you trying to represent by your betting? You make it 3.6 pre and then bet 2/3 pot on the flop, if someone did this to me it's a snap-call with 6's on that board a majority of the time. The turn is where you really made a mistake, why are you trying to raise him when the river essentially bricks for you and he's raising. Your river bet was also just really terrible tbh. Try to bluff less at micro's, I know it's boring but ABC is good poker against calling stations like this guy.
You may want to find things more interesting by finding 'good' spots to bluff
So Daz you think if i excpect villain not to be station but rather 1 tabling careful amateur, then it aint good spot? Cos thats what i expected.
Dont bluff the fish!!! rule number 1 in poker! if a fish catches a piece of the board he never folds!!! So just explore them by value betting big and thin. Play the player ;-)
