Would consider flatting here better given its vs a MP open where their range is gonna already to stronger (assuming not a fish of course) and we close the action. Once this flop checks i would be bluffing twice since the KJ texture hits our call 4B range really hard and once villain checks he rarely has anything very strong (that he would generally bet flop with trying to protect), although at 4NL that could be bad and ranges maybe different, also would expect him to look you up with QQ (his most likely hand to play this way imo). Very villain dependant also, you have any info ?
no info
ah then i probs just give it up since at 4NL dont think theyll fold QQ and people just generally dont fold after they 4B, in fact people are just bad in 4B pots in general at all low stakes. For example say you flat the 4B and flops low and dry and villain CBs flop, then turn brings a draw and they carry on barrelling, most people just shrug call off their stack but really its really a super easy checkfold on the turn bc their 4B range is gonna be way stronger than your range for calling
he called with TcTx which made me feel bad that i didnt bluff R :D he might fold it :c , but didnt expect him to call it... thought more like AQ with spade
Flat pre. As played, just give up postflop. Villain is almost never folding the turn, unless when he has Ad4d or hands like that, with which he chosed to 4-bet as a bluff, if he ever does that. You cant x/c the turn because he still has QQ and AA without a spade when he checks back the flop and bets the turn. He probably c-bets KK, JJ and AK but he might check back sometimes too
yeah i mean his 4B there with TT is bad given positions, he should be calling there pre, dont be worries about the result just use this as a learning hand imo
I would just give up postflop. You're getting called a lot OTT and you have no idea where you are OTR.
