Typical aggressive player, unsure how I can improve my play in situations like this?

don't see how to name this hand a cooler.
hands that beat you on turn are KT,KJ,KQ,AK, JJ, 55, 77, KKslowplayed, 75 ( wont mention other combos)
hand that win you on river are : AQ Q9 KT JT TT and all the above.
would like to see his numbers and the reason you categorize him typical aggressive
unless you shove bluff to represent something big don't see how to call there.
~80% bet f/t/r
80% isnt true -at how many hands?
Fold river in my opinion.
Most of villains flop floats paired up or better. Anything you beat is checking back river, I really doubt he's turning Jx/Tx into a bluff. He can have some missed club draws but that's a pretty small part of his range.
if you are playing vs aggressive player you can consider checking OTF.
I think you played it fine. Check OTT is ok, and also x/c OTR is ok - when there's a busted fd, str8, he has some A high w/o sd value, there is a possibility that he bluffs 5x hands. So for me it's a clear x/c looking at this sizing.
I think river sizing pushes it more towards a fold. Would you not expect bluffs to bet more than 1/2 pot?
Yep you are right. But imo we shouldnt look at this spot like this.
What would you do if he bets 0.75$? You would call, cause it's really cheap, and you are getting awesome odds, even if this bet looks super value heavy.
What would you do vs 1$ bet? What about 1,25; 1,5; 1,75? etc.? It's hard to say where's the border line so we shouldnt take into a considariration reads that "it looks like a value", we should just calculate combos.
That's my latest thoughts :p
I understand the principle and I'm sure that GTO wise it's an easy call. However when we x call the turn we are super capped at 1pr hands trying to get to showdown. I just think exploitatively vs pop at 25nl this can be folded. It would however be an easy call for me if the turn went x/x and then villain bet the river.
A call can't be bad either though to be honest and it's probably somewhere near 0EV.
I'll generate this in snowie later to see what it would do but I expect it would call.
nh
can x flop too
