Better Bluff Cards on River?
Old Hand - PokerStarsNJ $2NLHE
SB
BB (HERO) $1.78
UTG $2
MP (Nitty VILLAIN) $2.10
CO
BT
Not reliable numbers, but noted villain take stronger hands to showdown, flat hands that could be 3-bet, seems to be very tight and passive
PREFLOP:
UTG bets $0.06
VILLAIN calls
fold, fold, fold
HERO calls
FLOP: [Qc Jh 4c] Pot: $0.18
HERO checks
UTG bets $0.09
VILLAIN calls
HERO calls
Wanted to x/r here but decided not to multiway
TURN: [Qc Jh 4c 3d] Pot $0.44
HERO checks
UTG checks
VILLAIN bets $0.10
HERO raises to $0.50
UTG folds
VILLAIN calls
Thought this was a good spot for semi-bluff x/r? Villain not exactly showing strength in a vacuum, but I realize now any bet from this passive a player is probably strength
RIVER: [Qc Jh 4c 3d 7h] Pot: $1.38
HERO bets $1.13 and is all-in
VILLAIN calls
Thought this card left villain mostly unimproved, and since villain was playing tighter, denied SDV, especially unblocking the club draw.
VILLAIN holds AQ for pair of queens, wins pot
What are better bluff river cards, if any, that I should look to use to bluff here? Is there a player type/spot that using this line would make more sense?
