Betsizing concepts
Hello everyone, I'm currently training with GTO wizard and there is one topic I'm really can't get my head around and come up with a concept that works in most situations.
--> Betsizing OTF, OTT, OTR in SRP and 3bet pots.
I created an excel sheet with all the different lines like shown below and tried to apply the concepts from different videos and establish the betsizes on different board runouts but as explained above, I don't have a concept yet which applies the correct bet sizings in 90%+ of the cases.
B-B-B (blank OTT, blank OTR)
B-B-B (blank OTT, draws arrive OTR)
B-B-B (draws arrive OTT, blank OTR)
Could you recommend some content that covers the concepts which apply or provide some context on how to approach this topic? I have obviously seen quite a few videos but I feel like I haven't seen a comprehensive overview but maybe that's just me.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Bet sizing is very nuanced, you might need more specific heuristics.
GTO Wizard recently released this video on cbet sizing:
https://youtu.be/dVZ1CdESSTw
bet sizing is the most complex aspect of nlholdem
its easier to start by using exploitative sizes and go from there - by that i mean see what sizes gets overfolds or overcalls at your stake and adjust from there
ex. do ppl at your games raise small cbets ever? if not then you have incentive to recklessly cbet wide - then go into solver and see if this exploit move is supported by theory, maybe on some boards cbetting small is ok some others no
if it works in theory and practice you drill it into your game, if it works exploitative in practice but not in solvers then you have to understand why and at least know the counterplay for those times when someone is good enough to reexploit you
if it doesnt work in theory and practice then obviously ditch it
What do you like about GTO Wizard that something like PIO or GTO+ doesn't bring to the table? I've been looking at it myself lately. They have a starter pack for $49/mo.
I went ahead and tried GTO Wizard's starter pack this month. I went with that over Lucid. GTO+ does a ton, and has a great trainer, so I don't think micro's and maybe even small stakes players need anything more but ...GTO Wizard is sick. The starter is $49 a month and we're talking 5 BI's a month for a 10nl player. Although not necessary, it's absolutely worth it, especially when it comes to betsizing. This is basically the new PIO of trainers. Everyone is using it.
Could you elaborate on the especially when it comes to bet sizing part? What does GTO Wizard offer in regards of bet sizing?
Bennobal It literally tells you what size you're supposed to bet with what parts of your range in virtually every spot. If you upload hand histories, it just walks you through your own hands. It does what GTO+ and PIO do plus just about everything Poker Scientist does and more. And quickly. Incredibly quickly on any device.
edit: It's not just about your range and sizings - it's about villain's, of course. When you know what he's supposed to do, what he's not supposed to do becomes starkly obvious at the tables. Most of us already have GTO+ and Flopzilla Pro. If you throw in even the starter package of Wizard, I don't really see what more you could need. Maybe Power Equilab but I'm starting to even think I don't need that anymore, either. HUDS are, of course, another story. But Wizard is so powerful and fast that it's what everyone is worried about when it comes to RTA now. And they should be.
