Bet turn multiway?

Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 (6 Players) BN: $69.16
SB: $83.16
BB: $31.33
UTG: $63.00 (Hero)
MP: $56.07
CO: $67.10
BTN is 24/19/6,9 over 556 hands, seems solid.
BB is 22/9/0 over 46 hands, bit fishy i guess and has half stack.
(vpip/pfr/3bet)
Preflop ($0.75) Hero is UTG with 8 9
Hero raises to $1.60, 2 folds, BN calls $1.60, SB calls $1.35, BB calls $1.10
Flop ($6.40) J Q T
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $4.65, BN calls $4.65, SB folds, BB calls $4.65
Turn ($20.35) J Q T 7
BB checks

Flop is always a bet i think. AK would have 3bet/sqeezed pre, someone might have K9s?
But should we bet the turn after 2 callers on flop?
And if we bet, i guess we call if BB shoves. But what if BTN shoves?
Or is he just calls, what to do on the river?

I'm betting rather big on this turn to set up for a river shove on any non-9,K,A,diamond.
If someone raises the turn I'm probably GII. They could definitely have some 2pairs or sets that they want to protect.

I dont get why you are so concerned about getting called in this wet flop. There are like infinite combos that the players might have called you OTF and you are only losing to AK (but nobody has it since its an obvious 3b pre with all that people involved in the pot) and K9, and you block some combos of that. You should bet turn big and shove river on most cards, as knoxox said. Big hands don't come very often, so make sure you get the max out of them

Ok, so because the flop is so wet it always is 3xbet, unless the flush completes on the river?
I ended up betting turn, and they folded... but was just wondering what to do on river vs call...
Thanks for the insights!

you can get 3 streets of value from lots of 2p and sets. Its a mistake to check behind OTT when there are so much value to be gained. You can bet for value in any river that is not a diamond, K or A

It's a classic example of 'I have da nutz, the board is super wet - let's go for max value/protection and bomb most runouts' - I would just pot each street and happily GII vs a raise.
