BB vs Btn flop play

I was playing at anon tables so i don't have exact stats .Btn was an aggressive reg ,something like 35 30 over 60h and i played somewhat aggressive too .
Preflop call it's kind of close . I don't like x/c flop because i will need to fold most of the turns so i've made a c/r with the intention of betting on the turn with 7, Q,K ,A and any diamond . He raises pretty quick and i taught at that time that his range is pretty weak ,but now i'm not so sure .
What do you think about my play ?

Later edit:Is there a way to post directly a microgaming hand w/o using weaktight ?

BTN can 3bet a super wide range here, and without some history I would assume he's never 3bet/folding as default.
I also think generally if you are calling this hand preflop then you have to x/c this flop really as you have flopped a fairly strong hand and villains generally cbet all their worse 7x here (I think anyway.)
You can x/r 87s, 67s kind of hands which are going to play much better and have less value vs his cbetting range.

Not entirely sure if my line of thinking is good in above post though so don't take it as gospel, I'm kind of bad too in these spots, think it arises from having not played enough HU.

I don't like a c/r with this hand on the flop. You don't get many worse hands to call (other than draws + overs which still have great equity). And you definitely don't get any better hands to fold.

I 3b or fold this hand pre, i think when he 3bets on flop he's always getting it in here and we r crushed.

I'm fine with flatting this hand preflop as long as you feel somewhat comfortable post flop. That being said, I hate the flop check raise but if you're going to do it I think you should just fold to the flop 3 bet. As Ace said, my default would be to assume that most people don't have a flop 3 bet bluffing range at these stakes.

Agree with Parker/James. Flop is a pretty standard chk/call.. and if you feel like he's really aggressive/light then you can find better ways to turn some of your hands (and potentially this one) into bluffs on later streets.

What do you mean by bluffing on later streets?Leading on the river if he checks turn ?
I used to c/c these type of hands ,but i don't like this guessing game and to be at his mercy .For him it's very easy to barrel .
