MP limped before me, I just limped behind because my hand is not at the top of my range. Maybe I should have raised?

He checks, I double barrel with an overbet. I didn't think the T was a game-changer or uncapped his range enough, and with the near nuts, it made sense to either gain more value or get him to fold.

Looking back this is the mistake, but at the same time it does not feel right to fold my hand.
Final Pot
CO
lost and shows a full house, Eights full of Kings.
BB wins and shows a full house, Kings full of Sevens.
BB wins $1.02

So I am not sure if this was just a bad beat but well played, or I just fish-ed it.
Also, I review my hands using Equilab (that's the software I have), and I find that many hands I lose, like this one, I have the equity advantage (my hand post-flop never goes under 90% equity), but then again I lose. So I assume I am not playing bad poker, but then these kinds of hands happen. More advice on how to review hands?
Any feedback appreciated! I have barely over 2k hands under my belt, so certainly a lot to learn (although I hope not to lose too much money in the process)
