Would you posted the hand if the flop was 73A? :)
I am fine with the fold at first; when i get a graps on how loose my opponents play here, I add JJ to my 4bet value range. I am concerned that cold calling will bring us in tough spots multiway, without initative and OOP.
Thank you for the quick response Disharmonist. And yes I would of Posted it. I'am just curious about the pre-flop. Forgot to Hide the rest of the hand.
Just mainly wondering about the PF decision.
Folding here when readless is an alright play? or Should I be 4 betting and fold to a 5 bet shove?
4bet/call is bad when BTN 3bets versus UTG, which means that his range is stronger/more polarized. I don't really like calling either, we have to put a lot of money in the pot and we don't close the action. Folding is the best play in my opinion.
Seems to make sense. Thank you for the support everyone.
its tricky. v player dependant. prob not losing much folding if u expect btn to be strong. i look at the fold to 3b of the opener to see if he is a target for 3b bluffs. if anything i would flat over 4b then. but u can ditch it pre. its better than getting involved and folding later worried about aces. that would be bigger mistake
also its got set value 3 way. and if the opener 4b then u can ditch it and be fine
Ah okay. Think im not taking time to look at villains stats on my hud enough before making a decsion i think.
Thanxs for the input Max.
if this is NL50, call is standard imo .
How deep would we have to be here to start considering a cold-call? Can we/should we ever consider cold-calling the 3bet here?
Should we ever consider cold-calling AA or KK in this spot? If so, what factors need to be considered?
Cold-call standard and fold vs further action? Where does QQ go, and how do we not play too face up in such spot?
