AT 3bet OOP 5handed play

Hand -> http://wt.ag/1eCNE6v

Villain Unknown 13/13 23 hands

PF =  I decided to go for a 3bet bluff looking for a fold PF.

Flop = Looking back at it I think I made the worst possible play... I think this play would make sense only if I know that he is calling 3bets IP with small PP`s.

Questions: After the initial 3b bluff vs an unknown is it better to just check/fold that flop? How would have you played the hand?

you have right in something ,again this player who is tight(only 23 hand ,but still) this KJ board hit his range pretty good,all AQ,AJ,AT,KQ,KJ,QJ,QT,JT,T9  but still he have lot of PP,A9s-A2s,87

it is like breakeven,maybe you can check and hope in free card,and if he check you can make delay CB.

I think the 3b preflop is okay, given that button steals wide. We 3b for value. Bet flop and turn for as a semibluff with a gutshot and an overcard. I think a 3 barrel on this board is terrible because like Ondrej previously said, hits Villains 3bet calling range hard.

I prefer flatting preflop. He is shaping up to be tight, so we can't really expect a 3b to be for value. We shouldn't 3bet bluff when we can flat for value though. Good candidates to 3b bluff are hands that are too weak to be flatted, but only barely. AT is fine to flat here vs. a relative unknown (non-whale) imo. As played pre, I prefer x/f this flop. We already think his continuing range vs. our preflop 3b is going to be pretty tight. This board hits that range pretty hard - he will have primarily one pair hands, often with draws or backdoor draws as well. As played on the flop, x/f the turn seems best, since without reads we can't expect to get Kx or any strong draw to fold the turn IP.

Agree with flatting pre. At SB I ll go to 3bet this (but not for value ofc, didnt see any value we can 3bet for with reg tight like this), but at BB when we can not afraid of sqz or MW with awful had - its ok to flat call, because good chances and by CALL we can really dominate against his "steal from btn range". And easy can play this spot F-o-F, sometimes ch/r semibluffs with draws.

Thank you guys for the feedback, I`ll look for flatting PF in such a spot in the future. I`m also trying to increase my 3bet % from blinds and I though this could be a good spot for this because we`re going to see a lot of folds from a tight opponent and we`re not going to play postflop vs a vague range OOP.
