AQ facing turn c/r

SB: $34.05
BB: $7.73
UTG: $10.05
HJ: $9.80
CO: $13.18 (Hero)
BN: $11.89
vilain is 30/26 over couple of hands. no read..
Preflop ($0.15) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt Q A
UTG raises to $0.40, HJ folds, Hero calls $0.40, BN folds, SB folds, BB calls $0.30
Standard call to me vs utg unknow. I could have 3bet, but I think calling is fine.
Flop ($1.25) 8 8 A (3 Players)
BB checks, UTG bets $0.71, Hero calls $0.71, BB folds
easy call with TP good kicker. No reason for me to raise. The initial raiser cbet into 2 players so his range should be kinda good.

Im calling here with AK, AQ, AJ, AT, KQss, KJss, 88, which is my entire continuig range. I dont really have 8x in my preflop calling range vs utg except 88.
Turn ($2.67) 8 8 A 5 (2 Players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $1.30, UTG raises to $3, Hero calls $1.70
Once vilian checks the blank turn, I thought I could bet. I would probably also do it with my FD. I dont expect him to check is 8x hand (he shouldnt have many anyway) or his AK, AQ, so its looks strange to me to c/r..

Once he did it, he make it small so I called.

What do you think ?
River ($8.67) 8 8 A 5 2 (2 Players)
UTG bets $5.94, and is all in
River brings the flush and the only thing I beat seems to be a complete bluff, which I dont expect often.. Easy fold, right ?

What if river is a blank ???
