AQ 3bet pot - Range construction

Hero (SB): $1163.00
BB: $2418.75
CO: $1129.00
BTN: $1015.00

Pre Flop: ($15.00) Hero is SB with Qh As
CO raises to $30, 1 fold, Hero raises to $100, 1 fold, CO calls $70

Flop: ($210.00) Tc Js 7s (2 players)
Hero bets $110.00, CO calls $110

Turn: ($430.00) 8h (2 players)
Hero bets $215.00, CO raises to $919, Hero folds

I think this is a pretty interesting hand that could be played in a lot of ways. It was played by a friend of mine and the only information he gave was that over a small sample he opened the CO 23% and one note saying villain 3/5bet shoved 78s preflop. I don't know hero's actual 3bet range (yet, I will ask). We couldn't come to a consensus on the best way to play this hand, so I'm asking for further input as it has been bugging me.

This board obviously smacks a tight CO 3bet call range such that he probably never folds the flop, but my question is mainly how to construct our entire range in this spot on the flop and turn.

Do we play a simplified cbet only strategy and potentially sacrifice EV (how much, if any)?
Do we play a mix of bet and check/x strategy?
Do we only play a check/x strategy mixing c/c, c/r, c/f?

Where do you think this actual hand belongs with respect to your flop/turn strategy?
If we do have a cbetting range, do you agree we should check (and only c/c if we continue) our entire range on this turn?

Alot of questions.. thank you for any help.

Personally I would play a mixed strategy between betting and checking.
it would be pretty hard to balance, and I wouldnt be able to do it without knowing your 3bet range. I think cbetting 100% on this board texture is pretty bad because as you said, he isn't folding much.

Personally, I would probably bet/fold this hand on the flop, barrel turned spades and check/fold most others. I'm not super happy about any of our options with this specific hand, but I don't want to check/call, not really a fan of check folding when we have a gutshot, and As, and we need to bet/fold some hands in our range if we played a mixed strategy on the flop, so I think this is a fairly good candidate for it.

while i am not playing 5/10 online - i doubt i have a XC range on that flop (except to trap with maybe JJ) as i feel like any medium hand i would XC wouldn't be able to profitable call down very often on that board and i think i would sometimes(rare) XR some top of my range value hands to try and rep a draw

without running numbers i am pretty sure i am XF this flop pretty often and only XR a small percent of the time so I guess I don't know how to value my range

I think he reaises his two pair or set hands on the flop, because he wants to get velue from draws and we wont baller without equity. I think he also raises his big draws for balane and gut equtiy. I think he might plays this way AJo,KJo+ we have 47.909% equity vs this range. He can plays his pair and FD hands the same way AhJh,KhJh vs 27.273% equity. Pushing AJo,KJo+ would be a bad play vs our calling range.

I thought about it for a couple of days. I am still not sure what to think. I think for this hand I do like to mix it up. If we decide to run a bluff, possible we need to all 3 streets. Simply because many villains will be lose on the turn with a lot of combo hands. If villain is able to call down light or raise light often, then it is probably better to take a more conservative approach. Not really sure how I would like to have a XC range constructed on this board. Possible XC XF or XF. Defently many interesting ways to proceed here.
