Am I overplaying AK pre?
I found myself confronted with two preflop situations with AK today in which I was unsure whether my shoves are fine or loosing money. Am I overplaying AK?
Hand 1
I am playing against two Villains which both are short-stacked. After the SB 3-bet, my thought is just that with any reasonable 4-bet size, I will generate an SPR of <1 postflop. c/f is then basically no option postflop since I might get just blown off by AK/AQ, so I thought equity denial preflop through a shove is better than allowing him to hit on the flop and then decide whether he wants to play for his full stack or not.
Hand 2
Here my goal is to isolate the fish who pushed all in for <50bb. Is this fine or am I just calling?
