AKss line bad?
PPpoker 6 max online 100-200 baht (comparable to 3-6usd)
Villain 1 UTG raise 600 (29590 effective) (donk raising utg pretty liberally)
Villain 2 HJ call 600 (65800 effective)
Villain 3 CO 3 bet 2400 (90100 effective) (solid good player)
Hero SB 4 bet 7200 AsKs (24610 effective)
Folds around to Villain 3 who flats.
FLOP 2h7h4c
Hero bets 5500 (leaving 11,910)
Villain flats
TURN Qs
Hero checks
Villain checks
River 2c
Hero checks
Villain shoves all-in
Hero folds
Question:
1) Was 4 betting there too light and was bet sizing too big?
2) When he calls should we be checking our frequency more than betting realizing he has a lot of op he is not going to fold?
3) Should I have shoved the flop instead with the awkward chip stack?
4) When he flats the flop should I just get it in on the turn with a little less than half pot remaining? (Figured there was not much fold equity)
Thanks for any advice in advance!

1- Nothing wrong with our bet and sizing
2- The premise is wrong, this is not the micros, he should still have plenty of combos to fold
3- No, your overpairs benefit more from going for 2 or even 3 streets(he doesnt have that many draws)
4- The ev of shoving the turn is very close to 0, you can study your range to determine at which frequency you need to shove
Shove flop is my preferred strategy with this SPR, it's hard to go wrong and we have good removal effect on any traps (AA/KK) while not blocking flopped draws. Seems like this will be a good bluffcatcher in general too for the same reasons, if we are picking a call range on river here.
Villain 1 UTG raise 3bb (148bb effective)
Villain 2 HJ call 3bb (329bb effective)
Villain 3 CO 3 bet 12bb (450bb effective) (solid good player)
Hero SB 4 bet 36bb AsKs (123bb effective)
Folds around to Villain 3 who flats.
FLOP (79bb) 2h7h4c
Hero (86bb) bets 27.5bb (leaving 59bb )
Villain flats
Seems like really solid shove given SPR as Kevin said. Also at some frequency this hand could just be a 4 bet all in maybe 10-15% of the time. I would also add if your not jamming flop I prefer a check. I don't think a range bet accomplishes much given the 4 bet calling range on this texture.
Definitely 4betting pre--a good, observant regular is going to realise that UTG is opening wide, and 3bet wider in response. This increases our fold equity, and along with the dead money in the pot + good equity when called makes it a clear 4bet.
The only question is whether to 4bet small or 4bet jam. Personally I don't like the size that you used--by 4betting so big we are basically telling our opponent that we are pot committed, which allows him to play perfectly in theory (by folding all his potential 5bet bluffs and jamming all his value hands). For this reason, we generally don't want to 4bet to more than a quarter of our stack.
I think it makes sense to 4bet jam AK and more vulnerable pairs like QQ and JJ, and 4bet small with a more polarised range of AA, AQo etc (KK can be a mix). AA (and to some extent KK) will always over-realise postflop, and doesn't fold out as much equity when we jam pre. The reverse is true for hands like AK--if we 4bet small and get called, there are going to be some runouts where we don't make it to the river, so we gain more by jamming and denying equity vs villain's bluffs.
From what I know, preflop solvers seem to agree--maybe someone who has run the relevant sims can verify this?
