AKs on scary board 10NL

SB: $16.89
BB: $4.74
UTG: $1.81
HJ: $11.15 (Hero)
CO: $19.33
BN: $4.63
SB: 21/19/8.1 Sqz: 7 (108 hands)
CO: 57/8 [rec. player]

Preflop ($0.15) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt A K
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.30, CO calls $0.30, BN folds, SB raises to $1.30, BB folds, Hero calls $1, CO folds
I think calling IP is the best. I want to play against a wide squeez range and a wide calling range from CO.
Flop ($3.05) 4 5 K (2 Players)
SB bets $2, Hero calls $2
This was a tough spot for me. I gave him a range such this [AA-KK; AK; AdQx-AdJx; Adxd; KQ-KJ]

Obviously no way to fold, but don't know what should I do: call or raise? Turn diamond card kills the action and I can hope only for checking down.. If I shove now, He won't fold any Adxx or Kx.

What are Your opinion??

Thank You!!
Turn ($7.05) 4 5 K 6 (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks
River ($7.05) 4 5 K 6 5 (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks

@Getready2Rokk--So you`d rather pay rake, let them both realize their equity for cheap, potentially lose a huge pot in a lot of scenarios, instead of taking down 20bbb of dead money preflop?

Yeah that makes perfect sense lol.

I can go either way PF, I agree with Hustla that my default is to 4 bet and be extremely happy about it. Really it all hinges on how terrible CO is. Just being 57/8 doesnt mean I suddenly dont wanna 4 bet.

Post flop I play it same, raising flop is too much, and as it played out only way to do anything different is bet the river, but Id wanna have reads and history and stuff before id go ahead and bet here

yeah...why not playin a bloated pot with AK vs (still) decent part of 57%....If hes willing to see a lot of flops, let him pay for it...and if he folds a random hand pre its not the end of the world with (just) AK...

If villain has a wider 3bet here then go ahead and 4bet. You still have enough strong hands to flat his 3bet - AQ being one of them, JJ/TT. If villain is tighter i prefer calling.

In a completely different aspect, I see something I'd like to bring up. This turn card, how often should we be betting here in position? I think we can conclude were not going to see a lot of sc's, etc. so I think he 2-barrels for value here almost every time in a 3bet pot with any diamond but Adxx Kdxx I could see checking back occasionally & betting river, just saying that reguardless of our hand I think our villian is 2-barreling this board with a diamond a ton, but my question is: vs our opponent here, is it a viable option to bet this turn a ton? & if we do, I don't think we can fire the turn when he calls, so we would have to assume he hasn't hit this K or have a diamond & I think we can get him to fold the rest of his range. Just my thoughts.

@Hustla,

You aren't convincing me that this is a DEFINITE 4bet. I think, yes, this is a good spot to 4bet. I'm just wondering what's your range for calling here if you aren't ever calling AKs? Or are you ever calling here? Would like an elaboration of your options in this spot if it's never a call.

I think people are auto checking their diamonds a lot on this turn, either for deception with the Ad or because they are just scared we have a bigger one with all their other diamonds, so I wouldnt rule out him having one, at least thats my experience in these spots. Also what do we get value from by betting the turn? we cant bet two streets, and we still can get same value by betting river if he checks again, he also may decide to bluff river after we check back turn sometimes. So its really mostly a protection bet vs a split then, and given he can still have diamonds I think I like just checking it back

just dont like checking it down every time, with our range here. what im trying to say is, yes we have some sd value, but when he doesnt bet this turn, we would be safe to assume hes missed fd if not all, a huge % of the time and his hand cant improve to what we represent. by doing this we take control as hes checking a lot of rivers to us rather then just check this down 100% of the time. just thinking that we shouldnt be checking this down everytime and with other parts of our range here we approach this differently say ahth. we are going to bluff this turn a lot for the same reasons ive described, but hes just not going to be able to call that light, im not saying we can get a ton of value here, but i dont think just because we connected and will probably win at sd doesnt means we cant take advantage of this spot with a wider range.
