Do you c-bet here ? Not sure this play type will fold a lot and whether we want to fire multiple barrels on this board texture ?! What are your thoughts ?

The 8 is not one of the cards I'd consider betting the river with. When I get called twice i think he'll mostly have Tx and maybe some Ax that peeled flop and turn. So I'd bet again on J,Q,A,K (expexting to get mostly folds). Would that be okay ?
I feel this is a common spot, where we don't hit the flop with AKo and a spot that gives me trouble. Looking forward to some thoughts and a good discussion :)

I wouldn't barrel against a fish especially not on a low board because they'll always think you have 2 high cards. I probably x/c once and give up.
I'd cbet with AKss (club, spade, diamond) here because it gives you more opportunity to barel on the turn.
In your spot I might just c/c the flop.
I see, c-betting with AsKs makes sense. Thanks for the replies !
Vs loose passived I'd cbet this all day long because they usually just fold when they didn't hit at least a piece and you'll very frequently see 5 cards and/or can win a big pot if you turn TP.
This guy might be bad/aggro enough to where I wanna dedeviate from this strategy. Depends on his postflop tendencies though. I prefer c/c one as well but I don't think cbetting is terrible by any means.
As played I wouldn't follow through on the turn though. It's also a spot where he will call 2 a lot and often fold to a 3rd if you improve. And your gutter might be teinted by him having the top end.
I cbet this flop as well but c/f a lot of turns though including this one.
as said by jonas i am not happy to barrell this turn, coz it connect more the board, and a little more equity doesent justify another bet(need equity+fold equity)..im barrelling a 7+ turn card :)
Okay, thanks again !
I have two scenarios in my head for this:
1) Say, we check the turn and he checks back, would you consider bluffing the 8h river in that case ? If not, is this a spot to bluff at all ? In my experience (i'm probably wrong), when villain checks back the turn he often has a one pair type hand or air so often villain will fold the river to a bet. If it is top pair w/ good kicker, he'll bet the river, if not he probably checks back - do you think this line is in some way exploitable for us ? I do see it a lot.
2)
Say, the turn is Qh, we bet again (i presume) and he calls. What's our plan on the river ? x/f anything but A,K ? Are there runout you would consider bluffing the river with ?
1) I'd x/f river. If you lead, fish may still think you missed and look you up with his 56 or 45 or whatever pair+sd types of hand. If you check, I don't see fish betting JK KQ JQ etc which we do have showdown value against.
2) x/f river if he calls on Q turn.
