River ($13.84) K 7 4 5 5
CO bets $10.98 and is all in, Hero

No stats from villain.

I decided to flat preflop, and take advantage of the position, I could cold 4bet as well some times.

Pretty std until the river I think, no much sense in raising at any point.
When I'm facing a 3barrel, my hand is underrep but I don't see so much that I can beat, only KQ, maybe KJ but I don't think they go for 3 street.

Do we always have a call here?

since we are probably not flatting 77 I am calling every AK combo here, since we are at the very top of our range
if you want to find a herofold, you can fold the combos that block the BDFD.

Preflop I would always cold-4bet small with a value-range of JJ+ AKo, AJs+ and perhaps some bluffs (AXs, 66-TT, 56s-87s etc infrequently) and fold everything else. Therefore I don't really like your flat preflop. I think it makes my range very face-up and difficult to play in a bloated pot - Position helps a bit but I don't think it's enough if one considers small post-flop SPR.
As played there is really not much else you can do except call down with this hand and hope opponent is getting out of line or pushing his range advantage.

I like your line a lot!!
Would you call if CO 5Bet shoves?

No I would fold if CO jams over our $3.20 cold4bet.
I'd call with KK+.

I was just speaking about this spot with a friend and according to him flatting AKo might not be as suboptimal as I thought. (he said he would always cold-call the 3bet with AKo)
For me the problem is developing a good cold calling range in this spot. He countered by arguing that I am handcuffing myself by only 4betting and that maybe if we coldcall with AK we also can balance and protect range by coldcalling AA and KK sometimes. Another thing he pointed out to me was that people at micros don't 3bet nearly enough from those positions therefore he'd have a very value-oriented cold-4bet range.
What do you think about that?

I would 4bet KK+ AKs and mix it up with A5s or some suited connectors.
Without significant stats I don't mind coldcalling AKo IP sometimes

i tend to like coldcalling a 3bet with AKo. especially in position.
out of position i can see the argument for 4betting, that we want to take down the pot pre, have agression etc.
but the facts of domination, playability and position make me favor the flatting IP.
one reason to 4bet would be if both of them are solid regs, because firstly they have wider ranges and secondly they are not likely to overplay their random AJo like recs would do.
