AK NL25

Hi.

Pre is think is standard. This guy opens 12% from MP, and calls 2/4 times 3bet from MP. Overall he (or she) is 27/21 AF 1.7 afer 2k hands. My question is regarding the flop plan. Should I be doing anything funky here with the ace of spades. He's giving me a very good price, but playing OOP after 3betted, and raised pot with Ace high doesn't appeal to me. What do you think about my CBet in the first place? Would you rather go into the c/call mode?

Regards.

I would float one,

  • The price is to dam good.
  • I show no love to the min raise ;D
  • We might even have the best hand right now
  • There are all sorts of turn cards the we will be able to continue on.
  • Having tha As could be very beneficial later in the hand, for either a value betting siutation ( board runs out spades) or a bluff ( villain check back spade turn, or checks back turn spade river... either or could be a profitable spot)
As for the CB, I like it. We have allot of cards to pick up equity on, and stay aggressive on.
C/C could be good as well, we have SD value vs FD's, oesd, GS.

XC or c-betting small are both fine. I would float one too I guess, people have been abusing those min raises on 3-bet pots, some time ago it was always the nuts but them people started to realize this play had a lot of fold equity and everybody nows use it as a bluff.

Call flop because your price is amazing and you need a couple of bluffing hands in your river range, otherwise he should never pay off hands like TT-QQ, 9x when you bet-call, which you would be doing with a bunch of overpairs.

Also, you could just have the best hand.
