Preflop ($0.15) Hero is BN with K A
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.20, SB folds, BB raises to $0.75, Hero raises to $1.80, BB raises to $12.62 and is all in

Posting this hand even though it's potentially very embarrassing.

Villain seems like a reg, no sample though so no information.

I actually don't really understand this situation. In this spot for example, our EV of calling here AKo vs QQ+ & AK is ~-$0.42. So I folded. I 4bet because I was expecting a call - these sizings are causing me a bit of confustion BU vs blinds - if I open to 3bb he 3bets to 10bb and I 4bet to 23 and he shoves then snapcall because EV is slightly +. But here it isn't the case when we have smaller sizings and villain just sticks it in anyway.

I understand that it is the EV of the whole line, but I guess I just turned it into a bluff here. "What are you calling with if you fold AK?!" I don't know. I just folded because I know this call (in a vacuum) is -EV.

Flame away?
