AK 4b pot

Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 (6 Players) MP: $10.15
CO: $10.92 (Hero)
BN: $11.53
SB: $7.03
BB: $9.74
UTG: $10.00
Villain unknown
Preflop ($0.15) Hero is CO with A K
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BN raises to $0.90, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.00, BN calls $1.10
I would be a bit more inclined to 4b/call given positions because I saw people at these limits do plenty of light ships.
Flop ($4.15) 7 2 5
Hero checks, BN bets $2.20, Hero folds
That flop ain't good and I think that villain's will have very strong 4b flatting range... so instead of cbeting flop, x/f turn... I might be better off simply folding AK without position vs his 4b flatting range?

1) Was this a mistake? Not to cbet that board and just x/f the AK?
2) How would you play it Co vs BU (unknown) and why?
