cant see ur hand mate
he has ajo its in title and im interested to hear more about this spot too seems like a tricky river vs this opponent
My brain is dead right now, HOpefully i can give u a more constructive advice if i have time. :p
1) VIllain has a bet-sizing tell fwiw. Look at how he makes a standard 3X(Raise) preflop.
**) Wouldnt you think for a second, if you had say AA preflop, and would you be more likely to 3-bet a number like $7.5, as opposed to $6?
While he starts to deviate, by betting numbers like $9.5,$23.5
basically, u can confirm that Villain isnt auto-piloting, by pressing 1/2,2/3 pot buttons, as he is spending time to construct a bet-sizing on every street(which should warn us).
2) On the river, 9 is probably one of the worst cards for our hand range, since QK OESD got there.
We're now losing to QK,TX, on river.
3) Levelling: this is the type of situation, where i feel Villain knows that the obvious FD missed, so he shouldnt be bluffing that much on river, since he would expect me to bluff-catch him with a wide range of hands.
Thus making me more prone to fold river.
AJ is a bluffcatcher in terms of relative hand strength, should be a fold under most situations.
Totally agree , ty for your post its difficult to him to bluff this when my percieved range is look like Tx Jx and all draws missed, but wneh i ve played this one my thought process was on 1st level "I got one of the best hands in my defending range,River isnt great but not worse at all . he has wide 3 betting range -he has to bluff sometimes also he barells a lot so i call. Totally missed the point you ve mentioned about how he sees my range. Ty again!
