In game time I checked back with instant regret. After I thought it a bad play since I'm am not check calling to often. Betting 2x pot is a much better option IMO I think turning my hand into a bluff at this point is the best play to win the pot. let me know what you guys think about this spot

Well obv no showdown value when he calls turn, for the same reason i think we should give up river.. Betting river is just spew!!

betting the turn w out betting the river is ridiculous spew. he has so many diamonds here, some weak and some strong. his fold to turn 2brl here is basically 0% so if we want to bluff turn we have to bluff river. Betting the turn is pretty absurd though. We just don't need to be doing this.

I wouldn't bet the turn, we get no value and nothing better is folding. I prefer x/f the turn because I would probably check my entire range on this turn.
But as played you have to bet the river but I don't really agree that it has to be too big because we don't have a lot of bluffs here. It depends on how many hands you're barrelling on the turn.

Why are you checking your entire range on the turn? Is it because we have more medium flushes in our range, we don't want to be bluffing on the turn that often and we want to protect our weaker hands with strong flushes?

I just think our valuerange is so narrow (even the Kd might not have 2 streets of value some of the time) that it's probably easier to check and defend ~1-A% of your range.
