Hi guys!
I've a bit of history with villain, we were restealing each other on multiple tables. He usually opens wide (30/26) but not 3betting so much (5); never see him 4bets or facing a 4bet.
I didn't trust really much his resteal, but when he flats the 4bet I put him on a strong ace or big pair (AQs+, TT+). He's a reg but not so skilled.
When he 3bet shoves OTF I crush half of his range (KK/QQ) and I'm almost dead with the other half (JJ/TT) (at this point I don't think he could make that move in bluff with AK or AQ, also because I'm blocking not only aces but also the nut flush with the Ac).
So, is this simply a cooler or I can sometimes consider to fold here?

You propably cant fold there even if it doesnt look pretty
The reason why you cant fold are pot odds, in moment where you need 15/48 (31%) to call, he just need to have there like 1 combo of overpair vs. his 1 combo of set etc.
I would set his range at: JJ (3 combos), TT (3), JTs (2), then some combos of QQ/KK (like 1/3 of them) and maybe KQdd and KQcc. I think these assumptions are pretty safe to make, and we have like 45% vs this, so high EV call actually.
Altho I think it will be a little closer than 45%, because I wouldent expect to see so many QQ/KK here, they usually get 5 bet.
Without misclick it could almost be a fold.
Yeah I know pot odds are just telling me to call, but I thought that OTF he probably shoves only with a hand that has equity vs my 4bet range, that was my doubt. But I probably in game I can never fold here.
@Dddogkillah I play on pokerstars.it and usually people here don't like very much to 5-bet unless they have AA/KK ;)
Are you always bet with this sizing in 4bet pot? I think is too big bet since if I want bluff it will be expencive. I like 40% bet on this texture and 1/3 bet on dry texture. Also you have A club, so you block a lot off his dro and you do not afraid turn card.
Never fold here accoding to pot odds.
He said misclick,33% is my standard for most part unless im trying to make it two street game.
Well, I usually bet 2/3 pot, and I don't like very much to change sizes depending on the situation. And I knew he had a strong hand, so I was trying to take the best value from it.
Unfortunately he showed JJ :D
The misclick was on the preflop, where I wanted to raise 2.5x but I did 2x.
yah you should consider changing it.... 2/3 is too big in allot of three bet situations

I don't see how we could ever fold here. We are flipping against a range of QQ, JJ, and TT. Some tighter players may even call with KK, see a flop without an Ace, then get it in. That makes us a 2:1 favorite. If we expand his range to include suited broadways it doesn't change much as far as equity. Our hand is flipping against KQcc/dd. And if he has the two combos of JTs he can also have the two combos of AJs.
The only way I could see folding is if you have Villain pegged as a super, nut-peddling nit. Putting him on a range of JJ and TT only.
