Hi everybody,
What is your standard play here on the river vs an unknown? call or fold?
Given that our opponent didn't 4 bet pre whit 1 player left behind to act i think its fairly unlikely for him to have KK,
He might have QQ-22,AK,AQs if he's a tight player which is more likely imo on 9 max tables.
When he donks on the flop i put him on either a flushdraw (Aks), QQ,JJ,TT or a set. Im not sure what the reasoning
behind donking with QQ-TT would be. when he checks on the turn he is either trapping with a set or checking for pot control/giving up with an overpair imo.
River is an 8 which made me think he either shoves 55, 33, and maybe QQ,JJ but the more i think of it i think QQ,JJ obv. check the river

I probably had just shipped the turn. There´s no advantage of letting him see free river. As played it´s pretty damn hard for him to bluff so you could actually fold, I guess.
By the way - better leave out results, it´s likely influencing the comments you´ll get.
Ya I d raise flop or ship the turn. I really don t get the turn check and then the river call. What kind of ranges are you putting villain on? Seems pretty inconsistent.
Thanks for your help, i will try to hide results in the future as recommended :D. I checked the turn because i thought he would double barrel Flushdraws and the range for his check is either a trap or an weaker overpair and i wasn't sure if he'd call a bet so i guess i was planning to fire a small value bet otr if he double checks.
The river call is very bad as played i agree, but mistakes happen i wasn't thinking sharp enough while playing. His range for shoving river almost allways beats my hand since he would prob. check with weaker overpairs.
I usually play 6 max and i'm not into the flow of 9 max that much anymore but i remember it as very tight that's why i put him on such a narrow range. Against a tougher opponent at a 6.max table the turn shove is very clear i agree since he could have a wider range with more potential outs here.
